Location: The Heights, Houston, TX
Services: Custom website design, custom Squarespace template
Overview
Catalyst Counseling is a Houston Heights therapy and coaching practice that helps people work through anxiety, life transitions and relationships with a warm, personal approach. It’s a true neighborhood business, and its website needed to feel that way.
Their previous site was outdated and no longer reflected the practice. Good Code Studio designed a new custom website and built it as a custom Squarespace template, so the team could keep their content up to date on a platform they already knew.
Design Approach
Many people visiting a therapy website are anxious just being there. The design focuses on a calm, welcoming first impression:
- A hand-lettered headline that speaks directly to the visitor
- A brush-stroke photo frame and a navy and gold palette built around the practice’s existing logo
- A clear, always-visible “Contact Us” button so reaching out takes one click
Custom Template
The custom template gives the practice a consistent structure that’s easy to maintain, including:
- Therapist and coach profiles
- Services and session fees
- An “In the Media” section
- A blog and newsletter signup
Most of our work is in WordPress, but we choose the platform that fits each client. For Catalyst, a custom Squarespace template was the right fit. Need a website for your practice or small business? See our design services or get in touch.
